Current Board Members
MSUFCU board members hold volunteer positions with the Credit Union.
Board members generally work 20+ hours per month in their role and must have the fiduciary, regulatory, and compliance knowledge to govern a $7 billion financial institution. Board members are required to attend monthly board meetings held in person in East Lansing and must travel as needed to support the Credit Union.

Members are able to file board petitions within the following guidelines. The petition must be obtained in person at MSUFCU Headquarters, where all petitions are logged. MSUFCU staff are not able to assist members in any petition efforts.

Members wishing to petition for a place on the ballot, will need to obtain 500 wet signatures from members and their account numbers. The submission of these signatures will be audited by an independent firm for integrity and validation of member status.

If a member would like to be considered in a future nomination process through the governing and nominating committee, they may submit their resume and interest which will be shared with the board committee.
