eDeposit for Business

With eDeposit (remote deposit), you can scan checks and automatically apply them to your MSUFCU account.You no longer have to worry about visiting a branch or ATM to deposit your checks, and Standard eDeposit is free!2

 

Standard eDeposit


All you need is a computer with internet access, a TWAIN-compatible scanner, and a ComputerLine password.
 

To Access eDeposit 

Login to your ComputerLine account and select eDeposit from the top menu.

 

 

The first time you access eDeposit, you must review and agree to the eDeposit Services Agreement. You will then be provided with step-by-step instructions to help you scan and deposit your check. 

 

 High-Speed Scanning Option


 

The High-Speed Scanning Option has been designed for businesses with higher-volume check deposits. It uses a special scanner that allows you to scan both sides of the check on a single pass--enabling faster processing and deposits. There is a $35 monthly charge for this service.

 

To start the High-Speed Scanning Option for eDeposit

1. Contact a Business Services Specialist at 517-333-2365

2. Review and agree to eDeposit Services Agreement

3. Review, sign, and submit eDeposit High-Speed Scanning Agreement

4. Step-by-step instructions will be provided

5. Have a high-speed scanner with compatible software

The following high-speed scanner models have been certified to work with our software:

  • Scans up to 50 checks per minute

  • Scans up to 80 checks per minute

  • Supported OS: Windows XP / Vista / 7

  • Feeder Capacity: Approx. 50 sheets

  • Compact (h x w x d): 7.4" x 5.5" x 8.8"

  • Scans up to 135 checks per minute

  • Supported OS: Windows XP / Vista / 7

  • Feeder Capacity: Approx. 250 sheets

1Although checks will automatically be deposited to your account when eDeposit is used, a hold may be placed on these funds. The first $1,500 of your deposit will be immediately available, and the remaining funds will be available on the second business day after the day of deposit. In some cases, we may need to extend the hold on a deposited item. If we decide to extend the hold on a deposited item, we will provide you with a notice and tell you when the funds will be available.
 

2Fees applicable to all check deposits, such as returned check fees, still apply to the checks deposited via eDeposit. Checks deposited using eDeposit count toward the number of complimentary monthly transactions on business accounts. Additional monthly charge for use of High-Speed Scanning Option may apply.
