“Sponsoring a community event like the Teddy Bear Picnic is so important because it gives MSUFCU employees the opportunity to interact with a wider demographic and contribute to family fun. Our group of volunteers did a great job of putting smiles on children's faces. We were able to have conversations about the Credit Union with kids as young as seven, as well as with their families.”— Lily, Credit Union volunteer

What better way to spend a summer evening than with live music and family. The Clarkston Chamber of Commerce hosted its 39th Annual Concerts in the Park series from June 15 to July 20 at Depot Park. The concerts ran from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each Friday and musicians ranged in style from jazz and folk to classic rock.

The Credit Union has been proud to sponsor the Concerts in the Park to help bring live talent and plenty of festivities during the summer to the Clarkston area. Every concert was free and open to the public. In addition to an array of musical styles, each event featured face painting, ice cream, giveaways, and more.

“These events are a great way to bring the community together and offer lots of things for kids and families to do,” said Ian, a Credit Union employee. “Everyone from kids to adults are on their feet, dancing and laughing the night away with some great tunes!”
