The Many Ways to Stay on Top of Finances Virtually

There is no denying a lot has changed over the past year, and one of the positive outcomes is discovering the resources available for managing your financial accounts remotely. While there is still something special about visiting one of our branches for face-to-face communication, it can be helpful to know what options you have from the comfort of your home.

If you prefer using the computer over your phone, start with the Credit Union’s main website to get an idea of what you can accomplish virtually. If you’re just scrolling for information, you can view current rates for both shares and loan options, utilize financial calculators to plan for your future, locate any community events happening virtually, and more.

From there, logging into ComputerLine—our online banking platform—will give you more personalized options such as sending an eMessage or using one of our chat options. A lot of people aren’t aware that you can even set up specific account notifications, pay any obligations using our Bill Payment service, apply for loans or credit cards, and even open up additional saving options. It can be helpful to spend some time getting acquainted within ComputerLine; click on the different icons and tabs to see available features, change the names to your savings shares to give them more purpose, and modify your Overdraft Protection paths.

If it’s more convenient to utilize your phone, the Credit Union’s Mobile app has many of the same features available as ComputerLine. You are able to deposit checks remotely using eDeposit, and have the ability to utilize Card Lock to keep your cards secure. It’s also very easy to move money between shares in your account, as well as transfer money to other members using Member2Member transfers.

Signing important documents has also become easier to accomplish remotely without the use of a printer and scanner. Several documents, including our Loan Agreements and Beneficiary Designation Form, can now be signed using eSignature through DocuSign. This allows the forms to be sent to your secure email address for electronic signatures.

Our Call Center is also available to help answer any questions from wherever you are! And if you prefer to visit a branch for your account needs, there is a new feature to allow you to schedule an appointment right from our main website.
