“I feel proud and fulfilled to know that I have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people every time I volunteer. Learning about the students is rewarding; I get to hear about their hobbies, goals, and aspirations. ”— Sonya, Credit Union employee and facilitator of the program

On Saturday, October 5, the MSU College of Human Medicine hosted the 15th annual Teddy Bear Picnic. Nine hundred thirty-three members of our community attended with their children to visit the teddy bear doctors and learn about living a healthy lifestyle. Attendees were able to visit booths to learn about different aspects of taking care of themselves and their stuffed animals.

MSUFCU was proud to sponsor the event, as well as host a vendor booth. Guests at the MSUFCU booth could enjoy balloon animals, clowns, and face painting.

“I loved seeing the excitement on all their little faces when we turned those mirrors around to show them the “art” we had created! So much fun!” said Sarah, an MSUFCU employee and volunteer at the 2019 Teddy Bear Picnic.
