“I remember my wide-eyed fascination with dinosaurs and fossils as a child, and I love seeing the same enthusiasm in children at the event. The MSU Museum stands as an incredible and free resource for community members to learn and explore; I'm happy to participate in these events where we can bring awareness to what the museum offers. ”— Meagan, MSUFCU employee and volunteer

MSU Federal Credit Union actively partners with the MSU Museum to help engage children and families in the community in fun and free educational opportunities, including the annual Fossil Day.

Fossil Day took place on October 8, 2017 and offered families the chance to experience a fossil dig and sift, scavenger hunt, fossil mold crafts, face painting, fossil identification competition, and more. Members of the Museum staff and several Credit Union employees volunteered to help facilitate learning at the different stations families could visit throughout the event.

“I remember my wide-eyed fascination with dinosaurs and fossils as a child, and I love seeing the same enthusiasm in children at the event,” said Meagan, an MSUFCU employee who volunteered at the event. “The MSU Museum stands as an incredible and free resource for community members to learn and explore; I’m happy to participate in these events where we can bring awareness to what the museum offers.”

MSU Federal Credit Union is proud to support the MSU Museum and National Fossil Day event.
