Through our partnership with the MSU College of Music, we are pleased to host our third Blue Mondays concert, on April 7, 2014, at MSUFCU Headquarters. We are excited to offer 50 of our members the opportunity to attend the Blue Mondays, Jazz concert featuring a performance by Jeff Hamilton, accompanied by MSU College of Music jazz faculty and students.

A legend in his own, Jeff Hamilton grew up listening to his parents’ big band records and began playing drums at the age of eight. Among his many achievements, Hamilton has worked with artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, the Count Basie Orchestra, Natalie Cole, Diana Krall, Barbra Streisand, George Shearing, and many others. Today, Hamilton tours, teaches, and composes with his own trio, the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, and artist, Diana Krall.

He will also visit elementary students across Michigan to influence and provide educational experiences for young musicians.
