MSUFCU Supports Virtual Woofer Walk Benefitting Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter

MSU Federal Credit Union’s commitment to the community has evolved to support virtual walks and 5K fundraisers. Among the virtual events supported include the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter’s Woofer Walk. The Woofer Walk is one of the main fundraisers of the year for the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter.

The Woofer Walk fundraiser has grown consistently over the years. Just last year, there were already a total of 300 registered participants garnering excitement for the 2020 event. Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the difficult decision was made to change it to a virtual event.

Despite the change, our community continued to show support of the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter by participating in the virtual Woofer Walk or buying ICACS gifts. All funds raised will be used for medical treatments, food banks, and enrichment programs for shelter animals.
