“The main goal of camp is to get kids outside and engaged with nature. However, our focus is to teach kids technical skills that they can use later on in life. The financial education portion that MSUFCU provides fits right into that portion. MSUFCU is laying the foundation of saving and budgeting which are life skills the kids will use after they leave camp.”— Shaun McKeon, MUCC Education Coordinator

Downtown Lansing Branch Wins Storefront Decorating Contest!

Tweet Button

Thanks to all of the online votes from our members and the community, our Downtown Branch was named winner of the Lansing in the Pink Storefront Decorating Contest for the second year! MSUFCU’s Downtown Branch joined other downtown businesses in painting and decorating their storefronts pink to benefit the Susan G. Komen Mid-Michigan Race for the Cure 5K event on Sunday, April 27, 2014.

The Lansing in the Pink contest transformed the downtown area to welcome the near 6,000 individuals who visit Lansing each year to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure and participate in the annual Race for the Cure 5K to raise money for cancer research and patient programs. We are excited to participate in the Lansing in the Pink Storefront Decorating contest year after year to help strengthen our sense of community and give back to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Mid-Michigan.

Thank you for voting for us!
