Help Support Sparrow Hospital Through Annual Telethon
Each year, Sparrow Hospital holds a Children’s Miracle Network Telethon (CMH) to raise money for the Sparrow Children’s Center. At last year’s telethon, there was nearly $1 million raised, and Sparrow Hospital is looking to continue their efforts at the upcoming event on Saturday, May 31, 2014. This year’s telethon will air from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Friday, May 30 and 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 on WILX TV-10.
“The best part about the CMH telethon is that every dollar goes to helping local children, so when you donate, you can be sure your funds are going directly to a child in our area,” said Patrick McPharlin, MSUFCU’s President and CEO. “The Credit Union is happy to continue our partnership with Sparrow Hospital in support of this annual event because we believe that all young patients deserve the best possible care.”
Join MSUFCU in our efforts at the telethon! To make a pledge donation, you can do so by donating now or calling to the telethon during the live broadcast.
The Children’s Center playroom is used to help children recover from sickness or injury through play, education, and emotional support. For more information about the Children’s Center, please visit http://www.sparrow.org/childrenscenter.
