“I remember my wide-eyed fascination with dinosaurs and fossils as a child, and I love seeing the same enthusiasm in children at the event. The MSU Museum stands as an incredible and free resource for community members to learn and explore; I'm happy to participate in these events where we can bring awareness to what the museum offers. ”— Meagan, MSUFCU employee and volunteer

MSUFCU Employees Participate in Local Races to Give Back to the Community

MSUFCU proudly supports various local organizations through sponsorships, donations, volunteering, and much more. One way Credit Union employees fulfill their core value of giving back to the community is by participating in local race fundraisers.

This year, they kicked off the 2017 race season earlier than previous years by supporting Meridian Township Parks and Recreation on January 22 at the Polar Bear 5k. Employees also supported the MSU Triathlon Club at the Heart Throb 5k on MSU’s campus, as well as the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan at the Run for the House 5k.

By sponsoring local races, the Credit Union encourages employees to give back while participating in a healthy activity with family, friends, and the community. Throughout the first quarter of the year, MSUFCU had 120 race sign-ups from employees and their guests through its internal wellness program, CU Healthy.

The Credit Union sponsors various races throughout the year. To stay up-to-date on upcoming races sponsored by MSUFCU in our community, please visit our events page.
