A big thank you to all our members for their donations to the moms at City Rescue Mission, C.A.R.E, Haven House, SafeCenter, and SIREN/Eaton Shelter in Charlotte. With the help of members, we collected more than 200 items including soaps, lotion, perfume, shampoo, diapers, and blankets for moms and women in our community living in local women’s and family shelters. Two Men And A Truck picked up and delivered the items to ensure women and children had personal comfort items on Mother’s Day. 2014 marked the seventh year of the Movers for Moms program, which delivered more than 210,000 items this year to help 210 shelters across the nation.

“With the help of our dedicated members, and community partners like Two Men And A Truck and its Movers for Moms program, MSUFCU was able to impact women and mother’s lives in our community,” said Patrick McPharlin, MSUFCU President and CEO.

With women in key leadership positions, the decision to start the Movers for Moms program came naturally for Two Men And A Truck, as the program aims to provide assistance to and help give back to women and mother’s in need.
