Racing to Give Back to Our Community

MSUFCU is proud to partner with many local organizations through their annual races and walks. From the beginning of April through the end of June 2017, 180 Credit Union employees and guests participated in local race fundraisers to help give back to our community.

Throughout those three months, the Credit Union supported nine races in the Greater Lansing and Detroit areas including Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure, MSU Safe Place’s Race for the Place, National Kidney Foundation of Michigan’s Bunny Hop 5k and Kidney Walk, Rochester Avon Recreation Authority’s Earth Day 5k, Ingham County Animal Shelter’s Woofer Walk 5k, Eaton County’s FIVE-0 5k, Maxwell C. Matthews Foundation’s Max’s Race 5k, and the Bell Isle Spring into Nature 5k.

MSUFCU encourages employees to have healthy habits and participate in activities through our internal CU Healthy program. Local races support our employees’ healthy initiatives while demonstrating our core value of giving back to the community.
