“It's always great to volunteer at the Teddy Bear Picnic not only because of the fun activities, but because kids and parents have the opportunity to learn more about healthcare and safety in a relaxed environment. ”— Megan, MSUFCU employee volunteer

Presented by Attorney Amy R. Tripp, Chalgian & Tripp Law offices

Join us on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at MSUFCU's Farm Lane Branch from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the Special Needs Planning Seminar. Estate planning for families with children with special needs takes a special lawyer. There are other legal issues that need to be considered including guardianships or alternatives to guardianships; public benefits (Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income) and life care planning, including the use of a Letter of Intent, and the ability to maneuver through community support services. This program is designed to answer questions and provide information about the special planning and considerations that need to be addressed that go beyond a Special Needs Trust. Co-sponsored by the MSU WorkLife Office.
