MSUFCU to Host Peckham’s Art from the Heart Exhibit
EAST LANSING, MI—MSU Federal Credit Union will partner with the Peckham Community Partnership Foundation to host the 2012 Art from the Heart exhibit. The Art from the Heart program provides professional, individualized instruction in the visual arts to artists with significant disabilities and other barriers to employment. Artwork will be displayed in MSUFCU’s Headquarters Lobby, located at 3777 West Road in East Lansing, September 7 - 25, 2012. Media representatives are welcome to attend the artist reception to be held at MSUFCU’s Headquarters on Monday, September 10, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Art from the Heart exhibit will be available for viewing during MSUFCU’s normal business hours and will feature contemporary and traditional art. The featured artists will have the opportunity to both display and sell their pieces at the exhibit.
The Peckham Community Partnership Foundation is committed to supporting the initiatives, programs, and services that help Peckham fulfill its mission. Peckham is a nonprofit community vocational rehabilitation organization that values quality, diversity, and performance. MSUFCU helps support Peckham’s programs via financial education and its involvement in events such as Art from the Heart.
