“It is exciting to support a program that allows local children in our community to work closely with college-aged students. These children are being exposed to experiences that show the opportunity they will have through continuing their education.”— April Clobes, MSUFCU President and CEO

East Lansing, MI – MSU Federal Credit Union is proud to partner with the Sparrow Children’s Center to support children in the local community through a toy drive in its Greater Lansing area branches now through Friday, July 31, 2015. A detailed list of the items requested will be available at each of our Greater Lansing area branches where community members can drop off toys.

The donated items will go directly to the Children’s Center Playroom at Sparrow Hospital, a place for young patients and their families to experience a home away from home when receiving care. Nurses and child life specialists use the Children’s Center Playroom to help children recover from sickness or injury through play, education, and emotional support.

April Clobes, MSUFCU President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, “ We are very pleased to partner with the Sparrow Children’s Center once again this year in hopes of making a difference in the lives of the families and children receiving care at Sparrow.”

MSU Federal Credit Union, the world’s largest university-based credit union, offers a full range of personal-and business-related financial services to Michigan State University and Oakland University faculty, staff, students, alumni association members, and their families worldwide in addition to a variety of select employee groups.
