MSUFCU Promotes and Recruits Employees to Management Roles

EAST LANSING, Mich. — April Clobes, President/CEO of MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU), is pleased to announce the promotion of Megan Curtis, and Benjamin Maxim, and the addition of Chas Coyne, Christie Langeland, and Steve LaRock to management positions.

 

Ms. Curtis serves as an Assistant Vice President of Credit Risk & Compliance. She is responsible for developing and supporting collection and recovery programs, and ensuring ongoing compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.

 

Mr. Maxim serves as Assistant Vice President of Digital Strategy & Innovation. He is responsible for assessing emerging business trends and technologies, facilitating innovation throughout the Credit Union, and providing strategic direction for existing and future digital channels. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

Ms. Coyne serves as the Information Security Manager. She is responsible for overseeing the direction and operation of the security team and supervising employees who provide IT security support and service to Credit Union employees and members. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

 

Ms. Langeland serves as the Software Quality Assurance Manager. She is responsible for leading a team in developing software engineering processes for digital and core Credit Union financial solutions. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State

University.

 

Mr. LaRock serves as the IT Network Manager. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of planning, operation, and management of the Credit Union’s data networks, internet, and phone systems. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
