Meet MSUFCU's Women of Sparta Team

I love being a Woman of Sparta because I am surrounded by women who lead the way for us as college athletes.

I joined the Women of Sparta to develop skills and promote financial success in female athletics. This collaboration with MSUFCU will allow me to be set up for success financially after college sports. I am beyond excited about the opportunity to learn and inspire those around me and connect with the community on a deeper level!

I joined the Women of Sparta because the principles and mission are beliefs that I strive to achieve in my daily life. I am an Eli Broad student majoring in Business Management and one of my favorite classes is accounting. I've been working since age 15 and have saved all my money and put some in investments. I love engaging with the Lansing community through volunteer work.

Joining the Women of Sparta program presents female athletes like me with an opportunity to seek empowerment, community, and personal growth. Joining this initiative will allow me to demonstrate my commitment to MSU athletics while advocating for financial literacy. This collaboration would provide me invaluable recourses that transcend the boundaries of sports. The Women of Sparta program will allow female athletes to realize their full potential and make meaningful contributions.

I joined the Women of Sparta to inspire young women to follow their dreams. Being born and raised in Michigan, my dream was to play at MSU. Now, I am opening my own coaching business to encourage young athletes to follow their dreams too.

I love being a Woman of Sparta because they help create opportunities that women's athletics greatly need!

I joined the Women of Sparta because first of all: I love MSUFCU and I use my MSUFCU card all the time! I am passionate about MSU and women's athletics.

I joined the Women of Sparta program for the opportunity to represent MSU as well as MSUFCU. I also love that MSUFCU is promoting women's athletics.

Joining Woman of Sparta has brought me awesome opportunities! I love being able to engage in the community at Michigan State because I can build deeper relationships with the students that attend the school. This opportunity will also uplift the MSU softball team!

I joined the Woman of Sparta because I have dedicated myself to becoming a role model for other women. I've learned that branching out of my comfort zone will lead to opportunities of a lifetime. I am passionate about making an impact on my rowing team, in my classes and with my community. I want to be an example and advocate for choosing to be brave and step up into leadership roles. With this foundation, I will continue to amplify my voice and find opportunities to grow personally, along with lifting up those around me.

I joined the Women of Sparta because The MSUFCU core values of demonstrating integrity and honesty, giving back to the community, and being passionate and determined align closely with values that I strive to cultivate in my own life and within my soccer team. This opportunity allows me to connect with the community, give back to those who give to us, and bring more attention to women's soccer and our program here at MSU.
I am impressed with the financial education programs, personal branding and leadership as well as the mentorship and internship opportunities. I love what this partnership has done for us as female student-athletes.

To me, being a Woman of Sparta is a unique opportunity to advance women's sports at MSU. I joined the program to connect my passions of being an athlete, social media, helping others, and becoming the best version of myself.

I joined the Women of Sparta because as an account holder I can see the perks of all the benefits offered by MSUFCU. I got my first credit card through here and I think that it is super important for all college students to understand the importance of financial literacy and a credit score.

I joined the program because I love being a representation of both my community and my team in any way possible. With Women of Sparta, I have a bigger platform to make a lasting impact.

I joined the Women of Sparta family because it represents everything I stand for. The ability to make money in NIL while being an athlete has allowed me the privilege of focusing on my education and performance in my sport without being overcome with the stress and financial burden that naturally comes with college. There are still large gaps between men's and women's sports and while I may not be able to change an entire system, I love representing a company that is fighting for equality. I believe that the Women of Sparta partnership will help bridge the equity gaps for the 30% of women that currently occupy the NIL.
