Embracing the Spirit of Giving

At MSUFCU, community is at the heart of what we do. Since our humble beginnings in 1937, we’ve prioritized giving back to the areas we serve.
Paying It Forward
As we celebrate our 88th anniversary this week, we’re spreading joy through our annual Pay It Forward initiative. Employees are performing random acts of kindness in partnership with local businesses across our seven regions. “Surprise and delight” experiences include:

- Cardmaking for hospitals.

- Distributing coupons at a laundromat.

- Creating flower arrangements for residents at an assisted living home.

- Serving meals to local youth.

- Surprising moviegoers at a movie theater.

- Handing out vouchers for senior bus transportation.
Join In!
Members have the opportunity to give back through the Giving Tree program. Through partnerships with local nonprofits, we hope to bring holiday cheer to over 250 individuals this year.
Participate in one of three ways:
- Visit any MSUFCU branch and select a tag from a giving tree. Purchase the gift and return it to a branch. Each tag includes a specific ask from a child in your community.
- Shop Amazon wish lists for our nonprofit partners.
- Make a monetary donation at a branch or via phone.
You can participate now through Nov. 22. During Pay It Forward week (Nov. 9-15), MSUFCU will match all donations. It’s a simple way to make your contribution go further and make someone’s holiday brighter.
