Members Spring into Giving this Season to Help Families in Need
The Credit Union teamed up with St. Vincent Catholic Charities for the Spring into Giving community drive for household items, to help local families and refugees in the Lansing area. Donation boxes were set up in branches for the past few weeks allowing employees and community members to drop off items. Through the generosity of our members, families in our community will receive support in fostering housing stability, and an enhanced quality of life.
“Your support of our Spring into Giving drive is helping St. Vincent Catholic Charities provide those we relocate and resettle with the essential household items they need to begin rebuilding their lives in our community,” said Andrea Seyka, St. Vincent Catholic Charities, CEO.
Thanks to our members, the Credit Union and community were able to provide St. Vincent Catholic Charities with more than 12 boxes filled with donations which included towels, lamps, blankets, pots and pans, and other essential household items.
Patrick McPharlin, the President and CEO, commented, “A tremendous thank you to our members and employees for your help in making the Spring into Giving donations drive a success. The community support we receive is tremendous in helping to make a positive difference in the lives of families and children in our community.”
