Who Can Join

MSU Federal Credit Union provides financial services to the MSU community; select employee and community groups; and anyone who lives, works, worships, goes to school, or owns a business in the state of Michigan.

Alumni, donors, graduates, international students and individuals currently enrolled at MSU and their immediate family members are all eligible for membership.

Select Employee Groups

Select Employee Groups (SEGs) are companies that have selected MSUFCU as their primary financial services resource and want to extend MSUFCU financial services to their employees.

State of Michigan Employees

State of Michigan employees are eligible to join MSUFCU as a Select Employee Group member!

Desk Drawer Foundation Donors

Individuals seeking membership with the Credit Union may opt to donate a minimum of $10 to the Desk Drawer Foundation to become a donor member of the foundation.

Member Referral

Share with your friends and family why MSUFCU is your credit union. When they join, you'll each will receive $25. No matter how many friends and family you refer, earn up to $500 each calendar year!

How to Refer Your Friends and Family

1. Log in to ComputerLine®
To access your unique referral code and refer friends and family, sign in to ComputerLine® and select the "Member Referral" icon in the menu bar.

2. Share Your Code
Refer your friends and family by using Facebook, Twitter, or email. You can also print your referral coupons.

3. Get Reward
New member must open a checking account, activate his/her debit card within 30 days of account opening, and make 10 transactions within 30 days of card activation.

Each referred member must be age 18 or older to qualify. New member will need to qualify for membership, cannot be an existing member, or have closed account in the last 6 months. New member must open checking account, activate his/her debit card within 30 days of account opening, and make 10 purchase transactions within 30 days of card activation for new and existing members to receive $25. Existing members account must be in good standing. Up to $500 can be earned in referral rewards per calendar year. Members will each receive $25 into their checking accounts within 4 to 6 weeks of meeting qualifications. MSUFCU reserves the right to revoke referral program privileges at any time. Institutional referrals do not qualify. Not valid with any other new account specials. Referred member must present referral information at account opening to qualify. Federally insured by NCUA.
