The Small Business Administration (SBA) loan programs are in place to assist lenders with providing financing for companies that may not qualify for conventional loans based on lack of collateral, down payment requirements, or risk outside of lenders typical policies. The SBA provides lender with a guaranty on a portion of outstanding debt in the event of default.
