PROMOTION PERIODS
The Join the Team Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. ET on August 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on September 15, 2026. The Join the Team Referral Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. ET on August 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on September 15, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
No purchase is necessary, nor will a purchase improve an individual's chance of winning in either sweepstakes. Employees, Board Members and Supervisory Committee Members of the Credit Union and affiliated CUSOs, as well as promotion sponsors, are not eligible.
WINNER SELECTION/ODDS
Winner(s) will be drawn within 10 business days of September 15, 2026 by MSUFCU, whose decision is final. Chances of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. For example, if 1,000 entries are submitted and there is one prize, the chance of winning is 1 in 1,000.
Winner(s) will be notified by email and/or phone and will have five (5) business days to respond. Failure to respond within five (5) business days will result in the selection of an alternate winner. Winner must sign a release and consent form. If we do not receive the completed release and consent form within ten (10) calendar days of the date the winner was first contacted, an alternate winner will be selected.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Join the Team Sweepstakes, become a new member of MSUFCU during the promotion period. Alternatively, you may enter without becoming a member by sending a 3-inch by 5-inch card with the sweepstakes name and your name, address, phone number and email address to:

To enter the Join the Team Referral Sweepstakes, complete a qualifying member referral during the promotion period and be an alumnus of Michigan State University. A qualifying member referral is completed when your member referral code is used by someone who becomes a new member of the Credit Union during the promotion period. Each qualifying referral completed during the promotion period will receive one (1) entry into the Join the Team Referral Sweepstakes. Alternatively, you may enter without making a referral by sending a 3-inch by 5-inch card with the sweepstakes name and your name, address, phone number and email address to:

We are not responsible or liable for:
Lost, late, illegible, mutilated or misdirected entries.
Entries not received in time for the selection of the winner.
Technical hardware or software needed to enter.
Lost or unavailable network connections that impair or prevent entry.
Failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions that may limit a user's ability to participate in this promotion.
PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE
One (1) winner of the Join the Team Sweepstakes will receive the Team Tailgating Package with an approximate retail value of $400. One (1) winner of the Join the Team Referral Sweepstakes will receive a Team Tailgating Package with an approximate retail value of $400.
Winner is responsible for applicable taxes and costs related to acceptance or use of the prize. Prize may not be substituted or transferred except at our discretion. We are not responsible for the winner's receipt or use of the prize and have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize, including but not limited to its quality or availability.
Liability for any applicable federal, state or local taxes, or any other costs associated with acceptance or use of the prize, will be the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize will be awarded without receipt of the required legal paperwork as determined by us.
Winner of the Join the Team Sweepstakes and winner of the Join the Team Referral Sweepstakes must pick up the prize at MSU Federal Credit Union Headquarters, 3777 West Rd., East Lansing, MI 48823-9946, unless otherwise determined by the Credit Union.
GENERAL RELEASE FORM
Each winner must sign a release form agreeing:
To all terms and conditions related to this promotion.
To allow us, unless prohibited by law, to use his/her name, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising, trade and other promotional purposes in any media now known or later developed without additional compensation, permission or notification. All images become the exclusive property of the Credit Union.
That the Credit Union and its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be held harmless for any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage arising from participation in this promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or terminate this promotion for any reason, including but not limited to viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond our control that corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or intended operation of the promotion.
In the event of suspension or termination, notice will be posted and, at our discretion, winners may be selected from eligible entries received prior to suspension or termination.
We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if we believe the entrant has attempted to compromise the integrity of the promotion or has failed to remain in good standing with the Credit Union.
We reserve the right to amend these Official Rules at any time without prior notice. We are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing of the offer, administration of the promotion or announcement of prizes.
Any legal challenge to these promotions must be filed within six (6) months after the end of the promotion. Any legal challenge not filed within that period is permanently waived. Participation in the promotion constitutes acceptance of this limitation period.
This promotion is not sponsored by or associated with any other organization, including any social media platform where the sweepstakes may be promoted, and participants release such organizations from any liability arising out of or relating to this promotion. YETI and Blackstone are not sponsors of, and are not affiliated with, these promotions.
2Each referred member must be age 18 or older to qualify. New member will need to
qualify for membership, cannot be an existing member, or have closed account in the
last 6 months. New member must open checking account, activate his/her debit card
within 30 days of account opening, and make 10 purchase transactions within 30 days of
card activation for new and existing members to receive $25. Existing member's account
must be in good standing. Up to $500 can be earned in referral rewards per calendar year.
Members will each receive $25 into their Spartan Saver accounts within 4 to 6 weeks of
meeting qualifications. MSUFCU reserves the right to revoke referral program privileges
at any time. Institutional referrals do not qualify. Not valid with any other new account
specials. Referred member must present referral information at account opening to qualify.
Bonus may be taxable and reported as dividends on an IRS Form.

4Cardholders will earn the following cash back rewards: 3% on groceries; 2% on gas, travel (airlines, hotels, motels, resorts, taxi/limo, and car rental) and universities; and 1% on all other purchases for every one U.S. dollar in eligible net purchases made on their VISA Signature Credit Cards, rounded to the nearest whole dollar. Cash back is not earned on tax payments, any unauthorized charges or transactions, cash advances, convenience checks, balance transfers, or fees of any kind. Account must be in good standing to redeem cash back. Returns result in the loss of cash back equal to amount returned. Negative cash back will be given if returns or credits exceed purchases.
