EAST LANSING, MI—The MSU Federal Credit Union staff care about making a difference in the Greater Lansing community and are dedicated to supporting many local organizations and charities. Every year, MSUFCU staff comes together to make a positive difference in the local area.
During the months of January through June, MSUFCU employees raise money for a Greater Lansing Area charity of choice. This year the MSUFCU Charity Committee chose Sparrow Hospice. Donations also aid in helping the terminally ill without insurance pay for the care they need.
MSUFCU’s Charity Committee is comprised of staff members from each department who focus their efforts on maximizing donations through engaging and enjoyable events. The committee organized and participated in a vast array of Sparrow Hospice fundraising events for staff including various raffles, a bake sale, golf outing, Lia Sophia sales, clothing sale, candy grams, Pistons and Detroit Tigers ticket raffle, a car wash, and much more.
