MSUFCU Continues to Help Members Through Financial Setbacks of Government Shutdown

As the government shutdown continues to affect government-paid employees across the country, MSU Federal Credit Union works to provide financial solutions for their members that may be experiencing financial hardships. MSUFCU’s focus is to help each individual that has been affected and may be going without pay by offering their assistance and temporary relief through loan extensions, payment arrangements, and short-term loans, amongst other options.

Patrick McPharlin, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MSU Federal Credit Union, commented, “It’s our goal to help keep our members financially secure during this tough time by providing financial assistance for any MSU Federal Credit Union member affected by the government shutdown.”

If MSUFCU members have questions, please contact the Credit Union at 517-333-2424 or 800-678-4968, visit www.msufcu.org, or any MSUFCU branch.

MSU Federal Credit Union, the world’s largest university-based credit union, offers a full range of personal- and business-related financial services to Michigan State University and Oakland University faculty, staff, students, alumni association members, and their families worldwide in addition to a variety of select employee groups.
