EAST LANSING, Mich. — MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) is proud to announce that it has been named on Fortune’s 50 Best Workplaces for New College Grads list. MSUFCU was ranked number 46 based on employee feedback and new job growth.

The 50 Best Workplaces for New College Grads list was determined through a survey conducted by the Great Place to Work recognition program, which selected companies with a high volume of job growth as well as impressive recruiting and hiring numbers for new grads. The workplaces selected also excelled in providing great employee experiences in areas important to recent graduates. Information was collected from approximately 600 companies, where employees rated their organization in areas including development opportunities, purpose and meaning behind their work, whether promotions are fair, and more.

“Recent graduates are an integral part of the workforce at the Credit Union,” said April Clobes, MSUFCU’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “By offering competitive benefits, engaging employee programs, and a positive work environment, we are able to attract and retain top talent and provide them with the opportunities needed to advance their professional careers.”

MSU Federal Credit Union, the world’s largest university-based credit union, offers a full range of personal — and business-related — financial services to Michigan State University and Oakland University faculty, staff, students, alumni association members, and their families worldwide in addition to a variety of select employee groups. Founded in 1937 by a few MSU professors and employees, MSUFCU has 17 branches, over 220,000 members, more than $3.25 billion in assets, and over 700 employees. In 2015, MSUFCU was named as one of the Nation’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For and one of the Nation’s Best and Brightest in Wellness by the National Association for Business Resources, and was listed as the fifth top employer in the large-employer category in the 2015 Top Workplaces list by the Detroit Free Press. In 2016, MSUFCU was selected as one of West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, receiving the Michigan Business Professional Association’s top honor of Elite Overall – Best of the Best award.
