MSUFCU Sponsors Annual Race for the Place 5K
EAST LANSING, Mich. — On Sunday, April 9, 2017, MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) and community members from across mid-Michigan came together to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the Race for the Place 5K. The race started at Michigan State University’s Jenison Field House and guided participants on a scenic route though campus.
Race for the Place is a fundraiser that benefits MSU Safe Place, Michigan State University’s on-campus domestic violence shelter and advocacy services provider. This annual event allows MSU Safe Place to continue to provide vital services to members of the MSU and Greater Lansing communities who experience relationship violence and stalking.
April Clobes, MSUFCU’s President/CEO commented, “We are proud to have supported Race for the Place for the past 21 years, and are happy to continue building our long-term partnership with MSU Safe Place. It is an honor to work alongside an organization addressing such critical issues in our community as they provide support and services to those in need, strengthening our entire community.”
MSU Federal Credit Union offers a full range of personal — and business-related — financial services to Michigan State University and Oakland University faculty, staff, students, alumni, and their families worldwide, in addition to a variety of select employee groups.
