MSUFCU Celebrates Berkley Branch Groundbreaking
EAST LANSING, Mich. — The MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) Board of Directors and management are pleased to announce the Credit Union will open a branch at 1833 Coolidge Hwy., Berkley, Mich., in the fall of 2019.
On Wednesday, October 17, 2018, representatives from MSUFCU and the Berkley community were in attendance to make formal remarks regarding the new branch, which will be a full service location with drive-up tellers and a 24-hour ATM. It will also offer a full range of financial products, including mortgages and business services.
“The decision to continue expansion with a fifth location in Oakland County is part of our long-term growth strategy to better serve our existing and potential members,” said April Clobes, MSUFCU's President/CEO. “We are looking forward to joining the Berkley community and helping members achieve their dreams.”
The Berkley Branch is MSUFCU’s fifth location in Oakland County, and the 19th branch for the Credit Union. The location will allow the financial institution to serve a larger portion of its members residing in this area as well as offer its products and services to prospective members. More than 346,900 households are within a five mile radius of the new branch, of which 6,372 are current members. More than 51,300 MSUFCU members currently live in Oakland County.
