MSUFCU to Sponsor Run for the House Event to Benefit Ronald McDonald House
EAST LANSING, Mich. — MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) is pleased to announce it will sponsor the 2020 Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan's (RMHMM’s) annual Run for the House at its headquarters campus in East Lansing. The event will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2020, and will feature a 10k, 5k, kids mile/sprint, and kids’ activities.
“The Run for the House is a great way for MSUFCU employees, their families, and community members to spend time together participating in fun, physical activities while supporting a great organization,” said Whitney Anderson-Harrell, MSUFCU Chief Community Development Officer. “We are proud and honored to be the title sponsor of this event, which ties in with our core value of giving back to the community.”
Proceeds from the Run for the House help the RMHMM provide a home-away-from-home for families whose children are hospitalized or receiving treatment at Lansing-area hospitals and clinics. The RMHMM offers a comfortable, affordable, and private place for families to sleep, eat, and relax. This caring atmosphere provides support and encouragement from others who are also going through difficult times.
Since 2001, the Run for the House has raised thousands of dollars for the Ronald McDonald House. MSUFCU has been a sponsor of the event since 2013, and for 2020, will be the title sponsor and host. This is the first race to be held at the Credit Union’s headquarters campus.
Online registration for the Run for the House is now open, and you can register by visiting runsignup.com/Race/MI/EastLansing/RunfortheHouseMichigan.
