MSU Registered Student Organization (RSO) Sponsorship Request Form

MSUFCU is pleased to support Michigan State University Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) and values the meaningful impact they have on campus and enhancing the Spartan experience. In consideration for the over 1,000 RSOs on campus, please note the following guidelines:

• Maximum sponsorship request: $500 per RSO, per year
• Requests must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event or program
• Requests must be for event or program support, not general operating expenses
• Travel-related expenses are not eligible for sponsorship (including airfare, lodging, conference travel, or mileage)

Requests may take four to six weeks to review.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for consideration, the following must apply:

• Organization must be a Registered Student Organization (RSO) at Michigan State University
• Event or program must be student-facing
• Required documentation must be uploaded (see below)

MSUFCU does not sponsor:

• Individual students or personal projects
• Research projects
• Travel costs (airfare, lodging, registration tied to travel, mileage, etc.)
• Political organizations or activities
• Religious organizations or activities that are sectarian or faith-based in nature (Exception: programs that are broadly promoted, open to all, and free from religious orientation)
